After falling to the Red Wings in the Western Conference Finals in 2009, the Blackhawks won their first Stanley Cup in nearly 50 years in 2010. 

The Blackhawks went on to win the Cup again in 2013 and 2015, giving them a total of six championships all-time and three in a six-year period. Alas, even with a Presidents’ Trophy added to the case during the 2012-13 season, it wasn’t enough for the NHL to declare the Blackhawks a dynasty. One more Stanley Cup win might have been enough to earn that distinction, but it wasn’t meant to be.
