About Enterprise Center

Enterprise Center

In the heart of downtown St. Louis, the Enterprise Center stands proudly as one of Missouri’s premier multi-use venues. Formerly Scottrade Center, this 18,400-seat indoor arena hosts more than just hockey; in fact, it’s one of the most versatile arenas in the entire region.

The History of Enterprise Center

Built in 1994 to replace the aging Kiel Auditorium, which had itself been constructed in 1934, the Enterprise Center has been a fitting replacement for that older, respected edifice for more than a quarter-century. The building was named Scottrade Center from 2006 until 2018 when naming rights were sold to Enterprise, a St. Louis-based company. The venue has been updated once since its opening, a three-step renovation that began in 2017 and saw nearly every aspect of the interior refurbished, from the concourse to seating to engineering upgrades as well. This arena is ready to last well into the 21st century and beyond!

What Makes the Enterprise Center so Special?

The Enterprise Center is unique among indoor arenas because it doesn’t look entirely like garbage from the outside. It features gorgeous glass-and-steel construction, stretches a beefy 12 stories tall, and thanks to having been renovated within an inch of its life, provides some of the most modern and comfortable amenities in any venue anywhere today. The sheer volume of vendor choices on both the concourse and mezzanine is dizzying! Beyond that, though, there’s no such thing as a bad seat in the house when it comes to the Enterprise Center. No matter what event you’re attending, you’re going to have a wild time.
